Experimenting with drugs

In today's society, it is said that:

Everyone experiments with drugs these days.

What do you think about this generalisation?

I think it is true that drugs seem to be around everywhere these days, but I don't think absolutely everyone gets involved with them or trys them. Some or a lot of people would experiment with them at some point, but not everyone.

yes lots of young people are starting to use drugs or atleast try them. like sarah c said not all people do but it is still becoming a problem. i have known many people that have been badly effected by drugs and their lives are juts a mess now. i think if you are thinking about them talk to someone and see what they actully do to you.

i dont think everyone is experimenting or trying them but i do think that a lot of people try them once to see what they are like but then stay away from them if they are smart enough. if you have problems you should talk about them. there is always someone there for you. even if you dont think there is.

DRUGS ARE BAD

They can make you and your life a mess.

if you're depressed then vigorous exercise will make you happy because it releases endorfens(the happy hormone)

when someone says drugs people come to the conclusion of ice or speed etc.

But what if they ment medication. u c in a dr.'s term drug means medication not the other type.

So when u say evry1 experiments with drugs well yes most pople tend 2 coz they are docs or nurse etc.

but if u r saying the non-medication way then yes thats bad. I know a few who take drugs that got kicked out of school 4 it 2.

So 'blog mastr' would u like to maybe rethink & rewrite the qestion.

Coz it depnds on what term u mean.

WHAT IS A DRUG:

A drug is any substance other than food which, when taken into the body, changes the way it works.
Drugs can be taken by:
* inhaling
* swallowing
* absorption
* injection

If we are talking about medicines, drugs are a great thing; but drugs that are misused will oftenhave serious physical side-effects. Using drugs can also mean that people are unable to make good judgements, making it more likely that they will place themselves in dangerous situations. obviously the more a person takes the more drastic the effect, but it also depends on the type of drug. Differnt drugs affect the body in different ways.

I find that experimentation with drugs is not necessarily a bad thing. For example, with self-control, marijuana can actually be beneficial to someone's health and well being. The problem lies in the fact that most people don't have self-control, and so they develop a need for it, which is indeed not healthy.
Anyway, most people who take drugs who are under the age of eighteen are generally just seeking attention, and if they die in the action of taking drugs, then it's their own fault, and they were too weak to deserve life, when they did not appreciate what they had been given.
Besides, not everyone experiments with drugs. If they did, a lot more people would be dead than there currently are.

I think this generalisation is wrong. For starters, who is everyone?? everyone as in all teenagers? or are they trying to say that EVERY SINGLE PERSON tries drugs? thats stupid because i know so many people who would never experiment with drugs. There are some people who are taught good morals and taught early that drugs are bad.

Yes, drugs are being experimented with more often. But think of the people in third world countries who can't get any drugs. That includes medical drugs.There are millions who live on less than $2 a day, who don't have the money for drugs.
Drugs are a luxury that can be healthy of dangerously unhealthy.
So it is true that more people are taking drugs, but that is a small percentage to those who don't take drugs.

I dont agree for people doing drugs like pot.
