Whether you know it or not, it's time for war. Microsoft has thrown the first salvo, and it's the Xbox 360, a multimedia, super-powerful console that is about to stoke the fire of the next generation -- not Sony's vaporware-sucking-boomerang-fax-machine monstrosity. Where are the vents? When is it actually coming out? Is that boomerang controller for real? How expensive will it be? So many good questions left unanswered. Why in the world would you want to wait for a PS3? There are few good reason, but certainly not 10 good ones. Why buy an Xbox 360? It's obvious man! To change the tides of the war, I tell you! To make history! To rip the throne out from the fat cats over at Sony and bring choice, flexibility, customization and great online gaming to the masses. Why buy an Xbox 360?
This is a very silly argument, although jaymz sounds very serious, this argument is one of the most stupid things to argue over. In my oppion they are a waste of time. And i think arguing over what is better an "X-Box" or a "PS3" is even more of a waste of time. I realise the irony that I am arguing my point about this so don't try to point this out to me.
Nick i dont think you understand, this is the the genaration of gaming. If you dont see that we should be talking about this now you should open your eyes.
Asking this question is the stupidest thing that anyone could of done. Why would you watn to argue over a stupid waste of time like this? Who cares about X-Box or PS3? Waste of time.

I don't really care which one you play, though the original xbox controllers are comfier. they are both the same on the inside, except the xbox is bigger than the ps3. you can play most of the same games on each aswell.
Jaymz... seriously why do you want to waste time playing a pointless thing such as X-box 360 or a PS3 let alone waste time arguing wich is better. they are both a waste of time, you should go get a life and stop playing your X-box

out of a XBOX or PS3 i pic a PS3!! because ps3's can play ps1/2/3 games while a Xbox can only play XBOX GAMES!!!!!!

the xbox 360 is way better than da ps3, the ps3 has the worst graphic and the xbox 360 has better games and graphics
Hey :p this is a really stupid post to put up. Is just a waste of time. I dont play video games but its still a stupid thing to fight about. Who really cares about ' xbox' or 'ps3'. I dont. Why dont you do something more productive then play video games. Its a waste of time!!
This is a very poor selection if we're discussing a 6th generation console up against a 7th generation console. The modern world has become overflowed with the existence of Xboxes, however, the originals successor, The Xbox 360 would be the prime candidate against the PS3, seeing as the original has practically dropped all production and manufacturing of the console. Now to discuss which of the consoles would be a winner. The Xbox 360 would definitely be the best choice for games due to its larger amount of time on the shelves and microsofts mighty power. Games such as, Call Of Duties, Modern Warfare and World At War have blasted sales through the roof, the PS3 managed to release these games too, however it was too late. Althought I disagree, the Halo series has brought the 360 to the top spot. However again, whilst Xbox uses its 'Live' feature for downloading and online gaming, it features no internet browser and has some audio issues with adding music. The PS3 on the other hand uses internet and has many fine features. Both controllers are wireless and require batteries or to be charged, in my opinion, the 360 controller is oversized and is clearly trying it's 'BIG IS POWERFUL' idea like its previous console. The PS3 sticks to its classic look, just with an added charger place, a player button, and center playstation button. Littlebigplanet assisted slightly in the sales for PS3's but hasn't garnered enough responses from fans. But this right here is why the PS3 wins mates!, before the release of the quite expensive console, Xbox released their own 'HD' DvD's and a special HD player. This choice was later trashed after poor sales occured. The PS3 was released with a massive number on its price tag due to its own idea on high definition, THE BLU-RAY DISC. This new dvd form contains the highest possible quality available and will soon outrun regular dvd. everything is becoming HD soon. The PS3 features wiser choices in technology and internet. The 360 has a wider game range. In the end, the Playstation 3 comes up to the highest score. Smashing things like the GameCube, The 360 and pitiful Wii console. Gees, get a grip Nintendo, nobody wants to exercise while they play games. It's not even an HD console (doesn't feature red, green or blue in original sale, must puchase seperately). The Wii and 360 can play 'badass' all they want. But soon everyone will realise. And Bill and Yoko will be sad. So in closing, wait for PS3 prices to drop if you're still not happy. But don't waste money on a pathetic poor graphic Wii, or the 'up itself' 360. PEACE

Neither. I would rather computers and other portable things. They r way bettr!
But if i had to choose i wuld choose PS3 because it is the only 1 I have tried

Well, as I haven't had much experience with any X-Box's or PS3's, I would have to say that the Nitendo Wii beats them both.

playstations are more origanal ps1 was out before x bax then ps2 after xbox then xbox 360 with ps3 i like pss cause they seem more original to me i think xbox controls are to terchnical
