The Ku Klux Klan -
bunch of backward thinking racist rednecks or merely misunderstood?
The Ku Klux Klan started after the American Civil War with a group of white Southerners who were very angry when the war ended. They were angry because the African-Americans had won their freedom from slavery and the townspeople had lost their slaves. No more slavery meant their lives had changed and they felt threatened. They then banded together a group who wore white masks, which looked ghoulish with only the two holes for eyes and the hole for a mouth. The Ku Klux Klan group was responsible for many mobbings, hangings, and shootings of African-American people.

it disgusts me that stuff like this still goes on in the world, the african american people have a right to be free. these people are DEFIANTELY NOT misunderstood

these people are disgusting. they sound just like another group of nazis!!!! the only thing they seem to be missing is a hilter.. or saddam hussein... why should african american people have to be slaves?? they americans we are talking about think they are so much better than them yet who are the ones that are trying to force people to be slaves?? yeh thats what i thought.
I thing that the Ku klux klan should not be racist. The only difference between the two is there skin. Ever one should be treated the same.
