
Should rights be sacrificed in the fight against terrorism?

Everybody needs rights. It is wrong to even take them away from the terrorists. This would give them a stronger motive to kill and make us look just as bad as them.
We still need our rights too, but it is not right for us that we are being terrorised.
What can we do?
I think the answer to this question could be summed up through the words of Eleanor Roosevelt (wife of President Franklin Roosevelt):
'Where, after all, do universal human rights begin? In small places close to home...Such are the places where every man, woman, and child seeks equal justice, equal opportunity, equal dignity, without discrimination...'
