ok. heres a tough one. im challenging myself! i believe itis a privilege to have been given the gift of reproduction. i believe this cos from what i ahve seen it is a joy to bring up a baby! but i think adults take sexual intercourse as a right but i dont need to go into that.
this is hard ok im going to stick with wat a ferguson said coz i think she is totally right. its a privalage to have a baby! But most adults do take it as a right.
what ever to happened to the olden days? when sex was something only married people did? these days we are faced with sex every day! not literally sex, but we are faced with sexual advertisments and a lot of other stuff. the world has changed so much from what it used to be. i mean, we have all sorts of things adults can buy! parenthood is a privilage and this privilage is being taken too lightly! teenagers are having sex without realising that what they doing is sharing something that they can never get back.
I feel that it is a privelege, one that should be stripped from many people. People now may laugh at the idea of humans becoming overpopulated and having to eat each other when we run out of food, but the idea is much more real than most people can imagine. Some scientists have made predictions that the Earth will be become overpopulated during the 2020s, and these claims have received very little criticism, as they are very close to the truth, if not fully correct. Basically every country in the world is producing far more children than it should, and these children are being born into poverty. The children mature and breed with other children, so that the new children are born into poverty again. We look at war and corrupt governments as the source of poverty and unhappiness in foreign countries, but in reality, the freedom to breed is impacting far more than either of the above mentioned.
Parenthood is a privilege given to hose who deserve it and can look after their children properly. Some people simply aren't meant to have children and others basically should never have children, they don't have the skilld or the right. Parenthood is not a right given out to everyone like free chocolate, we're talking about children here, REAL HUMAN BEINGS! Parenthood is something that should not be taken lightly.
Too often we hear about young teenagers having children because they were too stupid and selfish to use contraception. They don't realise the consequences of their actions and have landed themselves a child to bring up. They don't know anything bout having a child or looking after one, it probably wasn't that long ago they were a child themselves and they definitely won't have enough money to look after the child.
Back to the topic... PARENTHOOD IS A PRIVILEGE!
It is a privilege to have kids not a right. We are priveleged to have kids, we have no right to them.
OMG I TOTALY DISAGREE WITH EVERYONE. i think having a kid is a right. why? because we are on this earth to reproduce. if that wasnt the case, god wouldnt have put eve on earth, adam would have been enough. you get where im coming from? its the main role of a women to reproduce.
