Fair comment T Giles. Maybe we ought to think about why kids feel they need to sneak out and commit crimes. Does it mean there are problems in their lives that mean they need to find a way of escaping or venting their anger, hurt or frustration?
Do you think it is important for people to have rules and boundaries?
What do you think life would be like without rules?
to the 'blog master' (HAHA) i think that the people who commit crimes are in need of some serious help. i dont think its always their fault that they need help but to go out and say for instance, kill or seriously injure another person, you clearly couldnt be mentally stable.
i dont think it would be fair on the people who dont do crimes and who dont ushally go out at night, and as tgiles said it wouldnt stop the people who do real crimes of staying inside for the night they would just sneak out and do the crimes again. also the people who dont do crimes would be stuck in the house for a punnishment they didnt even do. so what would be the point of that.
There is nothing open late at night for young people so the people who are out are obviously doing something they shouldn't
There definitely should be curfews.
Only nightclubs are open late at night, and U/18s shouldn't be there anyway, so go home.
There shoudl be a curfew and there shouldn't. People oput at night may be doing something bad or something wrong without there parents/guardians permission/ but what about if u were 17 and it was New Years Eve and u and ur mates were out to celebrate if there was a curfew nobody would be able to celebrate would they.
Yes. Because, obviously, every crime committed at night is committed by people under eighteen, and once people hit eighteen, they automatically stop committing crimes and become productive members of society.
I personally prefer going outside at night compared to going outside during the day, although I seldom do. It's just nice to walk around in peace, without noises blaring at you. People just discriminate against under eighteens, when there are plenty of people under the age of eighteen who are far more intelligent than a majority of adults, and yet their rights are limited by their age, due to adults believing that all under eighteens aren't able to make appropriate decisions for themselves.

Yes there should be a 12am curfew for some young drivers. If they are on drugs or have people in the car they can get a little entusiastic and go skits in their car and flip. I just heard about a crash near Geelong where 2 people worked late and where going home when a person that was drunk was on their sid of the road going flat out (115km). The eventually crashed and the two men where killed and the man that was drunk was seriously injured!
I don't think that young drivers should have a curfew coz' it's their responsability if something wrong happens and it's their fault if they drink and drive!!
I think that yong drivers shoud not have a curfew because yong people have the right to decide wheather they are caperbal to drive late at night .Also perrents should have some in put as well
