hollywood is overrated!!! the best movies and music are underground and indepandant.
there is too much pressure in hollywood, with everyone dieting and going annorexic and getting plastic surgery because they feel they have to in order to fit in.
yea i agree, have a look at hilary duff in cheaper by the dozen- she looks pretty and in cheaper by the dozen 2- its disgusting she looks annorexic!
yes, i reckon it does. Children want to be what they see in the movies even if it means getting into trouble. If a popstar/designer/actor etc. does something or wears something it becomes a new fashion and the next minute everyone is doing it. children should stick to what they think and know but mostly they dont because they want to fit in. If everyone is doing something and just 1 person doesn't do it they get bullied and teased people say to put a firm hand up and say no. But trust me that doesn't stop the bullying. If a child tells they get bullied more. so look were we have come from. Someone doing something and someone feeling hurt and alone. HOLLYOOD does have a negative influence on children and the world. (especially children)
Almost all media has a negative affect. People these days are just too stupid to form their own opinions, so they let the media form their opinions and tell them what to do and how to act. I simply see Hollywood as taking advantage of the suggestibility of the majority, and exploiting it for profit. It's not Hollywood's fault. It's the fault of those who are not intelligent enough to think for themselves.
some stars in Hollywood are influencing young people into being anorexic, drinking heavily, partying hard and sleeping around with random guys. Some Hollywood stars are such a bad influence on kids growing up today
Some aspects of hollywood are bad influences, and some stars are overrated and have a negative effect on children. But that's not all stars and all aspects of hollywood and media. Hollywood provides forms of entertainment and influence for more movies. It can't be all bad if people are influenced for future movies there and people are being entertained. If it was so bad, like c jetson, t giles and s gultekin say, then why do so many people watch hollywood films and why do so many people live there???
