Globalisation, trade and the free markets are the talks of today. Many envision or talk about a future where people of different nationalities and cultures will be able to share and trade resources across boundaries in a manner that will benefit all of humanity.
But, how fair is trade when a nation's own global trading policies together, with international corporations' desire to increase their profits result in manipulated international trade pacts and agreements, so that they are most favourable for themselves? How free is the free market?

Why do the poor get poorer and the rich get richer?

well this is a hard one because some of the poor get poorer due to their own fault, eg drugs. and the rich can get richer by working harder to make more money. but the circumstances can be a lot different and i know wat i mean but im having trouble wording it so maybe someone could help me!!!
The rich get richer because of the land and factories they own. The more interest they get the more land they buy making them richer by the minute. The poorer get poorer because they don't have enough money to buy anything and when they do they would probably spend it on food.
I think you should help the poor because even if they are lazy and its there fault they mite think of taking peoples money and robbing banks.
I think that the rich get richer because there company gets bigger and bigger and they get more money from it all.
I think the poor get poorer because the company’s are taking the money away from people by racing the price of the stock.
I think the poor get poorer because there are too many rich people that are greedy and take those resources that the poor rely on. I believe that the rich get richer because (in some cases)they are greedy and seek prehapes more power or 'spotlight'.
I think poor people bring poorness upon themselves. Most poor people are drug adicts and acholics, and a lot of them don't have jobs because they are lazy.But then again, not all people are poor because they have brought it upon them selves.
Rich people usually get richer bacause they have good jobs and work hard, they EARN there money.
life isn't fair so get over it.
i do agree we should help the poor but its the rich people not helping.
some times life just isnt fair and what its meant to be. but the poor are only poor because the rich people are greedy. its in the human compilation for them to be greedy. its the way we are. remember the adam and eve story?
its in the human ways to always want what u cant have, and therefore the richer the rich people get, the greedier they are for more, leaving no option for the poor to stand for what they want and taking away from their share to make them in greater/higher position. lifes unfair :)
